First Printing 1948A-1 Jacket
Fourth Printing 1948D-4 Book
This is a nice copy of a early edition Blackwood Hall.
The jacket is a first printing jacket and it is paired with a
fourth printing book. This happened occasionally at the printer,
when jackets ran short, the printer would use whatever version
was available. In addition, some book stores stored books and jackets
separately. When they sold a book, they would place a jacket on it.
It was very easy to mismatch a book and its jacket. The DJ is in
good condition. It’s clean and bright with good color.
There are a few chips and creases, and small tears on the top
and bottom edges, particularly at the spine and flap folds.

The book is in very good condition. The binding is tight
and all pages are securely attached. There is minor shelf wear on
the top and bottom board edges. The pages are clean and bright
and there is no writing anywhere in the book. It's a lovely copy.
All jackets are protected in a mylar cover to prevent damage.
